Synopsis: The film Bimbisara tells an epic and grand story of the transformation of the all-powerful, arrogant, selfish and cruel king of Trikarthala, Bimbisara, into a more humane and selfless individual. There is a king, kingdoms, supernatural elements and time travel. How did the king cross two timelines and what did he find?

Bimbisara falls into the same area and tries to tell an epic story in a big way. The film probably has all the makings of a commercial blockbuster with all departments tied together. The director has tried to integrate emotion, action and comedy and, for the most part, has managed to create a wholesome package.
The story begins in the year 500 BC. Bimbisara, a mighty king of Trikarthala kingdom, is mighty, ruthless and ruthless. He is the embodiment of the most evil king who would stop at nothing and spare no one until he achieves his goal.
After enjoying unchecked power and seeing success in everything he does, the arrogant Bimbisara sets out to conquer everything in his path. However, while dealing with a small group of traditional Ayurvedic practitioners in the village of Dhanvantri, their army’s setback infuriates him, and in his attempt to silence and strike fear into the minds of the people, destroys the entire city and kills for its leader, including a young man. girl. How this cruel act comes back to haunt him has to be seen on screen.
The first half of the film establishes the king and his kingdom. The filmmakers have beautifully crafted it into a visual treat – visual effects and background music that will engage the senses. Elements such as the elevation and projection of the evil king Bimbisara, its interactive scenes elevated with his court ministers from his throne, lavish and grand stage sets and seductive song with Warina Hussain reach commercial points.
Chota K Naidu’s cinematography and MM Keeravani’s music composition are top notch. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram shows the metal of him with this film and portrays all the emotions this job requires. However, the second half, while still decent, could have been better than what was achieved in the first half. For example, the script could have been more engaging, the traversal between timelines could have been handled better, and some may note continuation gaps in the timelines. Also, while Kalyan Ram is a joy to watch and owns his characters, the other actors have limited screen time.
Catherine Tresa, Samyuktha Menon, Prakash Raj, Warina Hussain, Vennela Kishore, Srinivas Reddy, Brahmaji, Sai Kiran, Ayyappa P. Sharma and others have done a great job within their limits. Thanks to the entire technical team: cinematographer Chota K Naidu, music director MM Keeravani, editor Tammi Raju, visual effects producer Anil Paduri, songwriter Chirrantan Bhatt, art director Kiran Kumar Manne, directors of stunt performers Venkat and Ram Krishan, dialogue writer Vasudev Muneppagari, associate screenwriters Sreedhar Ganta and Nimmagadda Srikanth, lyricist MM Keeravani, Ramajogayya Sastri, Sreemani, Varikuppala Yadagiri, choreographers Shobi, Ravhu, Vijay, Yashwath and colorist Shiva Kumar BVR.
The Telugu action fantasy film written and directed by newcomer Mallidi Vashist will amaze the audience with its grandeur, energetic performances, epic soundtrack and stunning visuals. The first half of the movie is a huge hit and the second half could have been better. Kalyan Ram as Bimbisara was brilliant probably his best performance till date.
